Job Description:
Our fourth and fifth grade students are separated for their academic courses between two teachers. The position calls for the homeroom responsibilities for grade 4 and about two hours per day for Language Arts for both groups. Another teacher covers Math, Science, and Social Studies, with about 2 hours per day for each grade level. The curriculum used for the children is from the US, except for an hour each day for Mandarin language studies.

Spelling Class: Bob Jones Press Worktext
Reading Class: Scott Foresman Celebrate Reading 1997, MCP Phonics Worktext, and Wordly Wise Worktext for grades 4 and 5
The two groups of children for the 2024-2025 school year are delightful and have been praised by teachers for their positive attitude for years. Government regulations mandate that as an international school, all students must have passports from countries outside of Taiwan. The children in grades 4 and 5 for the 2024-2025 school year are from many different cultures and countries, including diplomatic families. We are an English-only school. All teaching, except for the daily one-hour Mandarin studies, is conducted in English.
Salary and Benefits:
• Salary range: NTD 67,000-88,000/Month (varies based on highest degree earned)
• (If hired outside of Taiwan) Round trip airfare per 2-year contract
• Housing provided (dormitory style if single, one apartment unit per married couple if the spouse doesn't work for any other company)
• 36 Paid Holidays (based on the Taiwan National Holidays and some American holidays, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter)
