Just English Sdn Bhd is seeking an Academic Programme Coordinator for its English Centre located within an international school in Bangkok. This role involves managing day-to-day administrative and academic operations, ensuring adherence to Just English's policies, and maintaining high academic standards. The Coordinator will lead teachers, collaborate with school administrators, and oversee all aspects of the Centre’s operations to ensure effective delivery of English language programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Organisational and Operational Duties:
- Manage operations across one or more Centres as required.
- Collaborate with school administrators for timetable preparation and classroom allocation.
- Ensure accuracy in class attendance records, schedules, and exam timetables.
- Assign teachers and multimedia lab administrators to classes and program components.
- Implement curriculum updates issued by Just English headquarters.
- Ensure timely reporting to both the school and Just English headquarters.
Academic Responsibilities:
- Conduct teacher training and professional development sessions.
- Supervise placement tests and ensure accurate student placement.
- Monitor teaching quality through classroom observations and feedback.
- Coordinate academic meetings, workshops, and shared-learning sessions.
- Support teachers in classroom management and academic record keeping.
- Teach classes as needed.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventories of books, materials, and resources.
- Ensure timely submission of reports and documentation.
- Safeguard examination materials and student records.
- Maintain Centre facilities and equipment.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Group CEO or Just English headquarters.
Requirements:
Education:
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics, Education, English, TEFL/TESL, or related field.
- Considered: Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience.
Experience:
- At least 4 years of ESL/EFL teaching experience.
- At least 3 years in managerial or programme coordination roles within English language education.
- Experience with CEFR, Cambridge, TOEFL, and IELTS preparation and testing.
