Job Description:

DL English Academy, located in Jamsil, Seoul, is searching for a dedicated Elementary School teacher to join their team.

If you are a native English speaker with a valid F-series visa and a minimum of five years of classroom teaching experience, we encourage you to apply.

Our school focuses on helping students become confident English users and thoughtful learners through language development, critical thinking, and psychological safety.

As a teacher at DL English Academy, you will enjoy 20 teaching hours per week, allowing time for lesson planning and professional development.

Our modern classrooms are equipped with 86-inch smart boards, and teachers have dedicated professional development time every Wednesday.

Qualifications include being a native English speaker, holding a valid F-series visa, and having the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Preferred qualifications include teaching certification, experience at an international school, and knowledge of linguistics and second language acquisition.

Responsibilities include planning engaging lessons, teaching English Language Arts classes, assessing student progress, grading assignments, writing report cards, and more.

The class consists of small groups of elementary students (Grades 1–6) who are selected through placement testing and have strong English communication skills.

The curriculum includes novel studies, non-fiction reading, vocabulary development, grammar, writing, and special events like Market Day and Movie Night.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with teaching hours on specific weekdays and professional development time on Wednesdays.
