Job Description:

The Digital Literacy Teacher is responsible for developing students' digital competence by teaching essential technology skills, computational thinking, digital citizenship, online safety, and responsible use of technology. The role aims to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world while supporting the integration of technology across the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Digital Literacy lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Teach students fundamental ICT skills.
- Introduce age-appropriate coding and computational thinking concepts.
- Teach digital citizenship, cyber safety, data privacy, and responsible online behaviour.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying learning abilities and needs.
- Use technology effectively to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Encourage creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and innovation through digital projects.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- Possesses recognised teaching qualification or teaching licence/certificate.
- Experience teaching Digital Literacy, ICT, Computer Science, or Educational Technology in an international or bilingual school is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum is an advantage.
