Our school, Misa, is American-owned, offering a very Western program and work environment. We have an all-foreign teaching team that enjoys hanging out together outside of work. With a focus on content-integrated learning, critical thinking, and learning through projects, we provide creative freedom for teachers to plan and conduct their lessons.
We are looking for teachers who are HIGH energy and team players, creative with a passion for cool projects, funny, organized, responsible, and independent, motivated, enjoy teaching children, self-starters who like to learn new things, and genuinely care about teaching and helping students learn.
-START DATE: February 23, 2026. March 3 may be possible.
-WORK HOURS: M-F: 1:00-9:00
-VISA: E2, F visas
-TEACH: Maximum 25 hours a week
-PREP TIME: 10-12 hours per week
-SALARY: 2.5 - 2.9 million, depending on qualifications and experience. For teachers with NO experience teaching in Korea: 2.4 - 2.5 million.
-LOCATION: Misa (Near Misa station on the purple line)
-GRADES: Mostly Elementary
-BENEFITS: Pension, Health, Severance, Housing provided. We take an annual beach trip during the summer and have team-building activities throughout the year.
-PAID LEAVE: First year: 12 days, Second year 15 days
-REQUIREMENTS: Native English speaker, Hold a valid passport from USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, BA/BS from an accredited institution from one of the countries listed above.
