Job Description:

Mataneedol International School in Khon Kaen is seeking enthusiastic Native English-speaking teachers for a full-time High School IGCSE Chemistry and Biology Teacher position. This role will commence in October 2026. The successful candidate will be part of a professional and supportive team in a positive, multicultural environment. Responsibilities include teaching IGCSE Biology and Chemistry, with a teaching load of approximately 18 lessons per week, and participating in school activities and events.

The Biology curriculum covers topics such as cell structure, photosynthesis, ecology, inheritance, and homeostasis. The Chemistry curriculum includes atomic structure, bonding, chemical reactions, and organic chemistry. Candidates must be native English speakers from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, hold a minimum 4-year university degree in a relevant subject, possess a TEFL certificate, and have at least one year of teaching experience. Essential qualities include enthusiasm, patience, professionalism, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:45 to 16:00. Benefits include a monthly salary starting at 35,000 THB with the potential for an annual increase of up to 5%, optional paid after-school classes, professional development opportunities, assistance with obtaining a Non-Immigrant B visa and work permit, generous paid holidays, free school lunch, and transport assistance if needed.
