Olive Tree English in Banqiao, New Taipei, Taiwan, is seeking a part-time experienced English teacher to begin in March. The position involves teaching young learners for 20 to 23 hours per week, offering a stable and consistent schedule. Our school is conveniently located within walking distance of Jiangzicui MRT station, providing easy access to Taipei City.
Candidates must be proactive, responsible, and skilled at delivering engaging English lessons. Experience in a cram school or similar language center is preferred. Applicants should be comfortable managing classes, following a curriculum, and maintaining good classroom communication.
Eligible candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and be legally able to work in Taiwan, or be able to obtain the necessary work permit. Preference is given to those already residing in Taiwan with valid documentation.
The hourly rate ranges from 750 to 800 TWD, depending on experience. We offer a supportive and professional teaching environment. Candidates from designated English-speaking countries with eligible passports (USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa) are encouraged to apply.
