Teachers of Chemistry, Biology and Physics (Part-time)

About us

Westminster College Bangkok is a private independent college near BTS On Nut. We offer programs for upper-secondary and sixth form students. Our curriculum includes GCSE & A-level subjects along with university preparation pathways. We prioritize quality and aim to foster a collaborative and professional environment where teachers can enhance their skills through training and peer learning.

We are currently seeking part-time teachers of Chemistry, Biology, and Physics for a University Foundation Program, which is equivalent to UK A-levels.

Employment requirements

- Be a native English speaker from the UK, South Africa, the US, Canada, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand, or have an equivalent IELTS score of 7.0 (Thai applicants welcome)

- Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant subject area

- Possess an internationally recognized teaching qualification (e.g., US teaching license, PGCE)

- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

- Preferably hold a TEFL certificate and have experience teaching non-native speakers

Working requirements

In addition to teaching, you will:

- Engage in teacher CPD observations and training

- Maintain a highly professional approach to teaching and other responsibilities

Contract details

- Salary: Hourly rate of 1200 THB

- Teaching hours: Approximately 5 – 6 hours per week for 26 weeks

- Contract period: Mid-March to mid-November 2025

- Involves some lab work with lab assistance provided

- Contract completion bonus
