Job Description:

The Anglo Singapore International School in Bangkok is seeking a Primary English Curriculum Coordinator for the Nakhon Ratchasima campus. This full-time position offers a salary of at least ฿65,000 per month. The role involves coordinating the planning and development of the Primary English curriculum, supporting teachers with curriculum progression, collaborative planning, assessment moderation, and practical classroom approaches. The coordinator will work under the guidance of Primary leadership, maintaining curriculum standards, and ensuring effective teaching strategies are employed.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating curriculum mapping and ensuring progression in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Collaborating with teachers to maintain coherent schemes of work aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Supporting consistent approaches to phonics, reading, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, and writing.
- Facilitating collaborative planning and modeling effective teaching approaches.
- Coordinating English assessment and moderation activities, helping teachers apply consistent standards.
- Assisting teachers in using assessment evidence to identify gaps, plan support, and review progress.
- Reviewing curriculum coverage and progression and recommending improvements.
- Supporting continuity between year groups and transition into Secondary English.
- Maintaining curriculum documentation and communicating updates clearly.
- Teaching Primary English and contributing to professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Education, English, Primary Education, or a related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification, such as PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent.
- At least three years of successful experience teaching Primary English.
- Strong knowledge of Cambridge Primary English and literacy progression.
- Expertise in phonics, reading, and writing, including support for students learning English as an additional language.
- Experience in curriculum planning, assessment moderation, and resource development.
- Ability to support colleagues through practical guidance and effective teaching.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in English for teaching and professional communication.
- Previous curriculum coordination or teacher-development experience is desirable.
