Job Description:

Daeil Foreign Language High School in Seoul is looking for a Substitute Native English Instructor to cover maternity leave. Located at 116, Seogyeong-ro, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea, the school is a prominent institution in the country.

As part of this role, you will be teaching conversational English to first- and second-year students. The ideal candidate should have a BA degree or higher from an English-speaking country. Preference will be given to applicants with E-2, F-2, F-5, or F-6 visas, EFL-related credentials, and prior teaching experience.

The contract period for this position is from August 12, 2026, to November 9, 2026. You will be working 20 in-class hours per week with small class sizes. The working hours are spread across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a daily lunch break included. The monthly salary offered is 2,345,310 KRW, along with a housing allowance of 200,000 KRW.

Benefits include national health insurance, paid leave during school exams and field trips, and the opportunity to teach optional after-school classes. Outside employment is permitted as long as it does not interfere with your regular duties.
