Job Description:

Montessori Academy Bangkok International School is looking for a dedicated and child-focused Chinese Language Teacher to join our esteemed international faculty. This full-time position is ideal for educators who are passionate about working with children and adolescents and are enthusiastic about delivering engaging and meaningful Chinese language education through project-based and experiential approaches.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chinese language at the secondary level, working collaboratively with colleagues to foster an inspiring, supportive, and culturally rich learning environment.

Start Date: Spring or August 2026

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Montessori diploma for ages 3-6 or 6-12 (AMI, AMS, or MACTE)
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, including experience in international schools
- Valid Teaching License from China or Taiwan
- Putonghua Proficiency Test (PSC) Level 2-A or above
- Expertise in one or more of the following fields is highly desirable: Chinese Language, Education, Chinese History, Chinese Classics/Philosophy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Drama, Dance, Music, Art, or Martial Arts
- Experience teaching Chinese as a foreign or additional language
- Experience in Montessori, IB, AP, or project-oriented programs is preferred
- Strong skills in designing and facilitating project-based learning and interdisciplinary units
- Effective communication in English
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people
- Warm, compassionate, and patient, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Creative, energetic, and able to make learning engaging and joyful
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a multicultural school environment
