Exciting Opportunities at Columbia English Language Program!

🏫 Columbia English Language Program
📍Taipei, Taiwan
💰 Competitive Salary
Job Description:

Join us at the Columbia English Language Program, where students and teaching staff flourish together in Taipei. Our goal is to create an exceptional language learning environment for children aged 3 to 15. We prioritize active student participation in the classroom, with a focus on a student-centered and activity-based approach. We offer a well-structured curriculum covering reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, and vocabulary. New teachers receive support through in-house workshops to ensure a smooth transition. If you are an EFL teacher looking to be part of a community that values open communication and growth, we would love to hear from you. For Montessori Phonics teachers, we have opportunities to work with students aged 4.5-6 years old. This age group is considered a sensitive learning period by Montessori, making it an ideal time to start language learning. Candidates should have a passion for guiding children, clear pronunciation, and a willingness to learn. Training on Montessori teaching materials and philosophy is provided. If you are interested in joining our team, located across various school locations in Taipei, please contact Elisa at elisa.su@columbiaenglish.com.tw or (02)3393-8333 ext 23 for more information or to schedule a face-to-face interview and demo. We look forward to welcoming enthusiastic individuals who are ready to contribute to our vibrant learning community!

Please review the requirements to teach English in Taiwan before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.

Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
