Finnway International School is looking for Computer Teacher.
Position Overview
We seek a Computer Teacher to develop and deliver our primary school computational thinking and digital literacy program. The role supports FISP's inquiry-based learning approach, emphasizing student agency and holistic development.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum & Instruction
Design and deliver age-appropriate computational thinking lessons aligned with FISP curriculum
Implement engaging activities using varied teaching methods and digital tools
Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs
Conduct ongoing assessments and provide constructive feedback
Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
Digital Skills Development
Teach fundamental coding concepts using age-appropriate programming tools
Foster digital citizenship and cyber safety awareness
Develop students' problem-solving abilities through computational thinking
Create an environment that encourages digital exploration and creativity
Collaboration & Integration
Partner with classroom teachers to integrate computer science across subjects
Contribute to school-wide technology initiatives and events
Support after-school coding programs and workshops
Stay current with emerging educational technologies
Qualifications
Teaching qualification with focus on computer science/ICT education
Experience teaching primary school students
Strong understanding of computational thinking and coding instruction
Excellent collaborative and communication skills
