Positions Open at Taipei Wego High School
Taipei Wego Private Senior High School, a prestigious institution in Taiwan, is seeking full-time English teachers for the spring semester in 2025. The school has openings in the international program and ESL conversation classes in the local program for teachers who will be teaching students in grades 7-12.
Applicants are required to have a Bachelor’s degree or higher from a western university, teaching experience in Taiwan, and state teaching certification. TESOL certification with a minimum of 100 hours will only be considered if applicants already possess an APRC.
The school is located at no.50, Chu-Hai Rd., Beitou, Taipei. It offers various benefits including a work permit/resident visa, health/labor insurance, and a monthly payment starting from NT$81,000, which includes the base salary, living stipend, and certification bonus. Additional bonuses for perfect attendance, Chinese New Year, and monthly bonuses for teachers with master's or doctoral degrees are also provided.
Teachers work Monday to Friday with an additional half day paid leave per week, resulting in a four-and-a-half-day work week.
Requirements for applicants include being a Native Speaker of English, holding a Bachelor’s degree or higher from a western university, possessing a teaching certificate or TESL certification (minimum 100 hours) along with an APRC, and having teaching experience in Taiwan.
