Job Description:
Hsinchu International Academy is excited to announce teaching positions for the 2025-2026 school year.
Are you a growth-minded educator with a passion for teaching? Join our caring team at Hsinchu International Academy (HIA) and help us bring out the best in our students and ourselves.
We are currently seeking educators for various teaching positions:
- Full-Time MS/HS Social Studies (Geography, Modern World History)
- Full-Time MS/HS Math & Digital Literacy (Common Core)
- Full-Time MS/HS English Language Arts (Common Core)
- Full-Time MS/HS English as Another Language (EAL)
Successful candidates should have a teaching degree, certification in the subject area, and at least 2 years of teaching experience. International teaching experience is a plus.
At HIA, teachers are expected to collaborate with colleagues, attend faculty meetings, lead advisory programs, and sponsor co-curricular activities.
After one year, part-time positions may transition to full-time. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in education.

π You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in Taiwan: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. However, some schools may still hire teachers who already have a long-term visa. This requirement only applies to teaching English - schools can still hire you for subjects other than English.
