Are you a passionate educator with a strong background in Science? We are looking for a dedicated Teacher of Science to inspire and educate secondary-level students (Grades 7-10) in line with the US curriculum.
About the Role
We offer a full-time, fixed-term position starting in June 2025. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in various scientific disciplines such as biology, chemistry, and physics. Your role will involve encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, and hands-on learning experiences through lab experiments and project-based activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic science lessons aligned with the US curriculum.
- Encourage scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience teaching Advanced Placement (AP) science courses is desirable.
- Teaching qualification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of one year of full-time teaching experience.
- Native English speaker with excellent communication skills.
