Job Description:
HeadStart International School, located at Chaofah Campus in Phuket, is looking for a Mandarin First Language Teacher to start in August 2025. This is a full-time, fixed-term position with an application deadline of 21 February 2025.

**Role Overview:**
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Mandarin education, including familiarity with the Chinese national curriculum and Cambridge IGCSE Mandarin as a First Language course. Responsibilities include teaching Mandarin to secondary students and inspiring a love for the language.
**Essential Requirements:**
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university.
- Teaching qualification like BEd, PGCE, or iPGCE.
- Previous experience teaching Mandarin in a secondary school, preferably internationally.
- Fluency in English for instructional and administrative purposes.
**Desirable Attributes:**
- Experience with the Chinese national curriculum and Cambridge IGCSE Mandarin as a First Language.
- Prior employment in an international school and teaching English as an Additional Language learners.
