We are in search of an enthusiastic Teacher of Math to be a part of our team starting in May 2025. As a full-time, fixed-term position, you will be responsible for teaching secondary-level students (Grades 7-10) following the US curriculum. This role offers a chance to inspire students, aiding in the development of their mathematical knowledge and critical thinking skills in an innovative learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with the US curriculum.
- Develop students’ understanding of key mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus.
- Use various teaching methods to accommodate different learning needs.
- Incorporate project-based learning to encourage critical thinking and real-life application of math.
- Assess and track student progress while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Teach Advanced Placement (AP) courses and collaborate with colleagues for school initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field.
- Strong understanding of mathematics concepts and experience teaching secondary-level math.
- Teaching experience in Advanced Placement (AP) courses is advantageous.
- Recognized teaching qualification and a minimum of one year of teaching experience.
- Native English speaker with excellent communication skills.
