Harmony Montessori Education Institute was founded in 2012 by a group of AMS and AMI certified parents.

We follow the AMS curriculum and philosophy, which views children as the subject of the learning process.

We believe that learning includes diverse abilities that enable them to become holistic individuals.

We strive for qualities such as independence, resourcefulness and altruism.Children learn willingly and have strong interests because of the exposure they get in this organic learning environment.

There will be an opening for an English teacher in the preschool classroom (aged 3-6) and the lower elementary classroom (aged 6-9).

We are looking for a native speaker who has at least 3 years of teaching experience (with young children up till 12 years old).

Montessori certification is preferable but not required.

Also, a teacher who can commit to two years or longer will be looked at preferentially. You will be working along with two other Chinese teachers in the classroom.

Working hours are from 8:00~17:00.

We will provide both labor and health insurance.

Professional development training will also be provided where necessary. If you are passionate, patient, loving, and creative, please send us your resume.

Please review the requirements to teach English in Taiwan before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.

Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
