Job Description:

Pan-Asia International School in Bangkok, an IB World School, is on the lookout for a vibrant and qualified native female P.E. facilitator to enrich our team. The ideal candidate should have a genuine enthusiasm for physical education, hold a valid swimming license, and be dedicated to creating a positive and interactive learning atmosphere for our students. The role will commence with teacher-orientation and preparation sessions in January 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a holistic P.E. curriculum that emphasizes physical fitness, teamwork, and a passion for sports.

- Design and deliver swimming lessons, ensuring the safety and progress of all students.

- Coordinate and supervise various sports and physical activities.

- Evaluate and monitor student performance, offering guidance and assistance to help them reach their fitness objectives.

- Encourage health, well-being, and physical activity within the school community.

- Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and school policies.

Qualifications:

- Native/European female

- Certified P.E. facilitator with a recognized physical education qualification (minimum 2-3 years of teaching P.E. in an English medium international school)

- Valid swimming instructor license

- Prior experience in teaching P.E. and swimming

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying skill levels

- Dedication to establishing an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Applicants for a teaching role at Pan-Asia International School must hold a teaching degree and have a minimum of two-three consecutive years of teaching experience. These prerequisites are essential for foreign nationals seeking to work as teachers in Thailand and obtain a work permit.

To be considered, candidates must provide acceptable police checks from their home country and the local country, along with three references from current and previous employers.

For this specific position, PAIS mandates at least a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field and 2-3 years of teaching experience in international schools. An education degree and IB school teaching background are advantageous.

During recruitment, all interviewees must present original documents and be prepared for a teaching demonstration if requested. Salaries are competitive and commensurate with experience.
