We are seeking a part-time English teacher to work with children aged 4 to 12. We are a small and friendly school located near Ohashi Station in Minami Ward, Fukuoka.
Our lessons focus on communication, activities, and enjoyment in a relaxed learning environment.

Responsibilities
Class ①: Ages 7–12 (5:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
※ 50mins lesson
Teach based on our annual lesson plan
Use existing flashcards provided by the school
Supplement the lesson with your own games or simple activities
You are also welcome to use your own original teaching materials
Class ②: Ages 4 (7:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
※45mins lesson
Use pre-made, hands-on materials provided by the school
Repeat and reinforce basic content through interactive methods
Plan simple, age-appropriate activities as needed

Class Size & Support
Class ①: Up to 8 students (elementary level), with a Japanese assistant teacher present
Class ②: Currently 2 four-year-old students, taught in the same room of elementary class
Lessons should be movement-based, engaging, and developmentally appropriate

Requirements
Fluent English speaker or certified English instructor (e.g., CELTA, TESOL)
Experience teaching children, especially young learners
Must currently reside in Japan with a valid visa (student, work, spouse, or working holiday)
Energetic, flexible, and confident working with both preschool-aged children and beginners

Job Type & Schedule
Start Date: September, 2025
Working Day: Fridays (3 times per month)
If a scheduled class falls on a national holiday, it will be moved to the fourth Friday of the month.
Someone who can work either ① or ②
Working Hours:
① 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Ages 7–12)
② 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Ages 4, currently 2 students)

Location: Near Nakagawa Hospital, Minami-ku, Fukuoka
Approx. 15 minutes by bus from Ōhashi Station (toward Nakagawa)
Get off at Nakagawa Byōin-mae (那珂川病院前) and walk 3 minutes
Access: 2-29 Mukaishinmachi Minamiku Fukuoka

Compensation
Lesson Fee: ¥2,000 per lesson
Transportation Allowance: ¥500 per working day
Example Monthly Pay:
¥2,000 × 3 lessons × 3 times = ¥6,000
¥500 × 3 times = ¥1,500
Total: ¥7,500/month
