Cranberry International School, located in Lampang Province, northern Thailand, is seeking a qualified native English speaker to join our team as a Primary Homeroom Teacher. Our school offers a US standards-based curriculum, serving students from Nursery to Grade 6. This full-time position begins at the start of our 2026-2027 academic year.
Position: Primary Homeroom Teacher
Start Date: August 13, 2026
Contract Term: 1 or 2 years (August 2026 - July 2027/2028), with a possibility of renewal
Responsibilities:
- Teach English Language Arts, Math, Science, Health, ICT, Social Studies, Art, and Independent Study to assigned classes.
- Prepare lesson plans and assessments in accordance with the curriculum. Evaluate student progress and issue end-of-term reports.
- Collaborate with a Teacher's Assistant to manage the classroom and students.
- Organize school events and activities.
- Communicate with parents through classroom Line group chats and parent-teacher meetings.
- Perform administrative duties such as weekly gate duty and student supervision.
- Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Maximum of 190 school days per academic year.
- Maximum of 20 students per class and 20 teaching hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Native English speaker with at least 1-year teaching experience and a bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field.
- Eligible for Thailand’s Non-Immigrant Type B visa, Teacher’s License or Temporary Teaching Permit, and Work Permit.
- Ability to manage a classroom of up to 20 students and create engaging lessons.
- Proficient in using educational technology and online resources.
- Prefer to live and work in a peaceful town in northern Thailand.
- Available to start by the specified date and complete the contract term.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting salary of 38,000 THB per month
- Thai Social Security benefits, including medical expense coverage
