Position Available: Secondary School Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives Teacher
Satit Bilingual School of Rangsit University, located in Pathum Thani, is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our international teaching team as a Secondary School Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives Teacher. This role is set to commence on August 3, 2026. We are looking for a dynamic educator who is professionally certified, suitably qualified, and committed to fostering student development through curricular and extracurricular activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach IGCSE Global Perspectives and some humanities subjects in accordance with the Cambridge Curriculum.
- Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials, and maintain information on the school's administrative system.
- Customize teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse student needs and interests.
- Evaluate student performance, monitor academic progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Set classroom expectations and evaluate student behavior, social development, and health.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, or guardians to discuss student progress and address any issues.
- Design and implement remedial programs for students needing additional support.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Organize and engage in extracurricular activities like clubs and academic contests.
- Perform additional professional duties as assigned by the Principal.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Education, Humanities, Social Sciences, or a relevant field.
- Professional teaching qualification/license/certification.
- Preference for candidates holding a teacher's license and those based in Thailand.
Experience:
- At least three years of professional teaching experience post-qualification in a structured school environment.
- Experience teaching IGCSE Global Perspectives or related subjects, with AS & A level experience being advantageous.
- Familiarity with working with expats, international curriculum, and EAL learners is beneficial.
Skills and Attributes:
- Native-level or near-native English proficiency (CEFR C1 minimum).
- Strong skills in presentation, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
- Effective in class management, time management, interpersonal relations, and teamwork.
- Adaptable, patient, flexible, dedicated, with a positive outlook.
