Assumption College English Program, located at the Rama II Campus in Samut Sakhon, is seeking a dedicated Secondary Mathematics Teacher. This full-time position offers a competitive monthly salary starting at ฿35,000.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering lessons in line with the ACEP Curriculum for students aged 11–16.
- Ensuring clarity in lessons, units, and projects.
- Staying informed about updates in the national teaching curriculum.
- Collaborating with colleagues to coordinate lesson plans and promote cross-curricular learning.
- Customizing instructional materials and methods to suit various learning abilities.
- Developing balanced lesson plans that incorporate instruction, demonstrations, and independent work.
- Employing diverse teaching methods creatively, including individual, group, and whole-class activities, as well as demonstrations and experiments.
- Adhering to safeguarding procedures to ensure a safe learning environment.
- Participating in meetings, training, and professional development activities.
- Maintaining classroom discipline and fostering a positive atmosphere.
- Encouraging collaborative learning to support student achievement.
- Assisting individual students and promoting independent research and learning.
- Keeping precise records of attendance, assignments, assessments, and progress reports.
- Monitoring student progress and reporting to the Head of Department.
- Engaging with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and priorities.
- Providing feedback to external bodies on student progress, behaviour, or child protection issues when necessary.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience is preferred.
- Immediate availability is required.
