Job Description:
Seeking a native English speaker who is eager to join our program. CUFS shares a campus with HUFS and is located in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, Korea
Position:
Foreign professor of English starting from the second semester of 2022
Application due date: 5.13 ~ 5.27(16:00)
Qualifications:
Master's Degree required: Majors related to English education, TESOL, Linguistics or English Literature.
Online education experience preferred.
Duties:
1. 12 hours of teaching online/offline English courses per
week (12 hours = 4 courses)
2. 4 working days, including Saturday classes and events (32 hours, including 24 office hours)
3. Weekly online or offline Saturday classes
Note: Saturday classes run approximately 10 out of 15 Saturdays each semester. When there is no Saturday class, there will often be other required events. See (5) for a detailed list.
4. Online video chat or phone class
5. Mandatory attendance at all school events, possibly including:
-trips to recruit students in other provinces-Saturday school social events, such as MTs, hiking trips, colloquiums, festivals, etc.
-dinners and meetings with students to support student clubs
-concerts and other promotional programs on Saturday evenings to promote a community spirit between professors and online students
-meetings and dinners with students for counseling and team building
6) Editing and proofreading course materials, research papers, exams, and university documents
7) Video and audio recordings
8) Creating course materials
Terms of contract, compensation, and benefits
1) Annual contract (can be renewed)
2) Annual salary: 36.2 million won
3) Health Insurance

5) Summer and winter vacation (4 weeks each; 8 weeks total)
