Our belief is that happiness and success has to happen hand in hand for every single child. We believe in a well-rounded and balanced approach to education where the child is viewed as a capable learner with ability to lead most of his or her own learning through the guidance and support of coaches (teachers). We take the best current educational practices from around the world to form and constantly improve on our own approach to education such as the Reggio Emilia method from Italy and the Finnish teaching pedagogy.
We are looking for passionate educators who believe in innovative and progressive educational approaches and values-based education. We believe that team collaboration is the key to work success as well as in achieving students' happiness and success. We focus on creating meaningful learning goals through hands on, creative, project-based, and inquiry based teaching and learning approaches. Learning has to be fun and meaningful for it to be effective.
At our school, we call our teachers "coaches" because as coaches, we are there to support students to find their potential, not simply to give knowledge or develop skills. We give a lot of importance to professional development opportunities for our teachers (both in house and external PD). We are a small school that offers a warm and fun-loving learning community but has big dreams to have every staff member and every student in the school achieve their fullest potential.
