PYP (Kindergarten) Classroom Teacher
Dwight School Seoul seeks a Primary Years Programme (Kindergarten) classroom teacher who carries some PYP background or experience having worked in an international school environment and is also a good team player working collaboratively within the early childhood division.
Dwight School Seoul teachers are expected to possess a solid understanding of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) including its role within the three IB programmes.
The primary function of an early childhood division(ECD) classroom teacher is to facilitate the cognitive, emotional, ethical and physical development of the students in his/her care. To this end the classroom teacher will provide units of work, lesson plans, learning activities and assessments in line with the programme objectives. The classroom teacher is required to monitor student progress in his/her assigned grade level(Kindergarten) in order to respond to inquiries from parents and carers regarding their child’s ability to achieve against the criteria of the programme.
