EAL Teacher Assistant
TSIS is a rapidly growing school offering world-class education in vibrant Bangkok. Our student population has increased by over 35% in the past year, and we are continuing to grow with exciting plans in the pipeline. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, well-qualified and committed EAL Teacher Assistant. The ideal candidate will work alongside the EAL teacher to teach students across KS1 and KS2 in a supportive school environment with an outstanding staff and community culture.
Classroom Teachers and Teacher Assistants are responsible for the academic progress and the general pastoral care of the pupils in their class. They are expected to work collaboratively and participate fully in the school's work. The ideal candidate will:
- have a working understanding of the UK curriculum
-have experience in using a structured phonics programme, e.g. Jolly Phonics
- have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a collaborative 'team player' mindset
- be adaptable, flexible, personable, and a great communicator
- be proficient in the English language
