Hi, there! My name is Douglas and I have worked here for the past four years. You might ask me why I would stay so long at the same school. The answer is easy. When I first came to Tainan, I didn't know what to expect as an English teacher and I had a nightmare start in Taiwan. Luckily, I found Joy Language School in Tainan City. So far I felt welcomed and part of a great team and for me that is very important. Our school has a great training system and teaching courses to help you. Now I find myself helping the new teachers to develop their skills and to get them settled and become part of the Joy family.
Tainan City is a great place to live. It's a combination of the old traditional Taiwan, but it's infused many modern facilities and amenities and our school is situated reasonably close to the heart of the city.
