Job Description:
SIAM Computer & Language School is accepting NES applicants for the upcoming academic year starting in May. We will have opportunities in a variety of locations, including, but not limited to: Rom Klao Rd, Lat Krabang, Nonthaburi, Ramkamheang, Thonburi and Sukumvit. We require experienced, reliable and enthusiastic teachers to add to our large SIAM team. If you possess these qualities, we would like to hear from you.
Founded in 1979, SIAM has been operating for more than 40 years. Many of our large team of NES and NNES teachers have been working with us at least 5 years and continue to do so. We are happy to welcome new and enthusiastic teachers to the SIAM family each year and hope to build strong relationships with all who join us.
Some of our upcoming positions are available at the following locations with new projects also on the horizon – Additional advertisements will be posted in the weeks ahead:
Rom Klao Rd (near Soi 17) Two new positions at a well-equipped co-ed Secondary School – Four Skills English. Multimedia facilities, air conditioned, modern classrooms equipped with big screen TVs. Comfortable, air conditioned teachers' room. Good students and a solid SIAM team in place. EP program: (Ideally) Female NES preferred by client – 11 month contract. Full curriculum provided. (Strictly NES only)
Thonburi area - One position teaching P6 and Mattayom levels listening and speaking skills - co-ed, nice, traditional Thai school with team of just two. Full SIAM curriculum / materials provided. (NES only)
Tiwanon Rd., near Chang Wattana - Large, well-funded Govt. School with programs ranging from regular to EP - Additional NES teachers required for the school's ECP Program. Positions become available in May. Kindergarten and Primary levels. We have a large SIAM team of 20+ in place. Full curriculum provided. (NES)
Bangkok Noi, by the river – New positions at a well-respected all girls’ mattayom school with excellent students and working environment. We have a very nice team at this location and are looking to add additional English teaching positions for this academic year. Curriculum provided. (NES only)
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree (must be completed)
• 120Hr TEFL or a CELTA qualification
• Teaching experience in Thailand or elsewhere is a must
• A reliable and positive character
• Be aged between 23 and 55 (client specified)
• Be currently in Thailand and possess a valid visa
• Be fully vaccinated against COVID 19
• Be willing to potentially demo / submit a demo video if selected for second round interview
• Online teaching platform experience
The following would also prove advantageous:
• Some understanding of Thai culture and Thai school culture
• Willingness to develop and grow as a teacher with the support of our professional development team
