Job Description:
MIT English Learning Centers has 5 locations in Taipei and New Taipei. We are presently hiring for all 6 locations, Beixin, Daan, Neihu, Guangfu, Taida and Renai. We have an excellent reputation as one of the best schools to work for in Taiwan with an extremely low turnover. Many of our staff have been with us for over 7 years.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or Higher
• Native English Speaker with a passport from an English-speaking country
• Experience teaching elementary school students
• Patient and positive personality with a passion for teaching kids
Essential Job Functions:
• Meet and instruct the student(s) in the location and at the time designated.
• Develop and maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to effective learning.
• Prepare for classes.
• Assess students learning on an ongoing basis and alter instruction to meet group/individual needs.
• Maintain order within the classroom and school setting.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude with students and staff.
• Correct students’ work and books in a timely manner.
