• Hours: Average 20 hours, with weekends off
• Class: 12~15 students per class; 2~3 fixed classes allocated
• Salary: Starting from NT$690/hr after 2-month probation (incremental raises depending on qualifications and class sizes)
• Start Date: August 22nd

At BigByte, educators have the opportunity to become a Worldwide Education counselor. These counselors are involved in planning, organizing, and taking our students abroad to places like England, Australia, and Nepal.

✨ TEFL:
While BigByte’s primary focus is on language education, we are also a TEFL training institution through TEFL International and apply this expertise to our new educator development.

📌 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
• Passport holder from a native English-speaking country
• Cleared national police background check
• 1+ years of experience teaching children full-time in a classroom setting is strongly preferred
• TEFL/TESL/TESOL/CELTA certification is a plus

Overall, it takes around 1.5 weeks!

• First Interview
- will receive the invitation within three days if suitable

• Demo Lesson
- three- to four-day preparation with flexible deadlines
- result out within two days

• Contract Meeting
- with CEO and HR manager

BigByte is eager to make changes beneficial to learning; in this semester, we introduced a whole new teaching curriculum called #Wonders.
It's an evidence-based K–5 ELA program that empowers students to take an #active role in learning and exploration.
The program provides unmatched support for
• Building a strong reading foundation
• Accessing complex texts
• Finding and using text evidence
• Engaging in collaborative conversations
• Writing to sources
Educators are also provided with a variety of resources to teach Wonders, including prepared assessments (homework, quizzes, and tests), daily class schedules, and online access to the curriculum content.
