Mataneedol International School in Khon Kaen is seeking a dedicated Chemistry and Biology teacher for its high school department. This full-time position requires someone who can start immediately and work effectively with both international and Thai colleagues.
The role involves teaching IGCSE Biology and Chemistry in approximately 18 classes per week. The Biology curriculum covers topics such as cell structure, biological systems, energy processes (including respiration and photosynthesis), ecological relationships, genetic principles, evolution, and health. The Chemistry curriculum includes atomic theory, the periodic table, bonding types and material properties, chemical reactions, quantitative work, analytical processes, foundational organic chemistry, and basic energy concepts.
Applicants must be native English speakers from approved countries, possess at least a four-year degree in a science-related field, and hold a TEFL certificate. A minimum of one year of teaching experience is necessary. Candidates should exhibit enthusiasm, patience, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to professional growth.
Responsibilities include attending weekday assemblies, participating in school ceremonies, preparing biannual tests, organizing an annual science project, maintaining classroom display boards, covering classes when needed, preparing short performances, and submitting weekly lesson plans. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 07:45 to 16:00.

The salary starts at 35,000 THB per month, with annual incremental increases. Paid extra classes are available after school, and assistance is provided for visa and work permit applications, though initial fees are partially the applicant’s responsibility.
