Marywell International School Phnom Penh is seeking a full-time, native English-speaking Early Years Teacher to join our expanding team. Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver play-based, inquiry-led lessons that are developmentally appropriate.
- Integrate literacy, numeracy, and early science through engaging activities.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Encourage positive behavior using empathy and restorative practices.
- Prioritize student well-being and adhere to safeguarding policies.
- Utilize assessment tools to track student progress and reflect on teaching practices.
- Collaborate with the management team, teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents.
- Uphold professionalism and school conduct standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development and support the school’s mission.
Candidate Profile:
- Fluent in English.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Understanding of developmental milestones and age-appropriate practices.
- Ability to implement engaging, child-centered teaching methods.
- Experience with the Oxford International Curriculum or similar frameworks.
- Strong commitment to student safety and emotional security with knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
- Effective collaboration with teaching assistants, colleagues, and school leadership.
- Passionate about continuous learning and growth in early childhood education.
