Job Description:

The Newton Sixth Form in Bangkok is seeking dedicated English Teachers for Secondary School positions. These full-time roles are available due to the school's expansion and the internal advancement of current staff. Our institution, established in 2019, is centrally located just a short walk from Siam BTS. We offer a diverse curriculum focusing on IGCSE, IAL (International A-Level), and BTEC programs under Pearson Edexcel, with a teaching team composed of both international and Thai educators with native-level English proficiency.

We are currently recruiting for the upcoming academic year starting in August 2026, with an ideal start date of August 1, 2026.

Position Details:

English Teacher for Business English and IELTS (Years 11-13) in our Business School. A background in business and/or economics will be advantageous.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

- A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, with a teaching qualification such as TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
- At least one year of experience in classroom teaching for the relevant age group and subject.
- Familiarity with Pearson IGCSE and BTEC programs is beneficial but not essential.
- Preference will be given to native English speakers, especially those already residing in Thailand, and to Thai nationals with native-level English proficiency.

Benefits:

- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:30, including a lunch break from 11:00-12:00.
- Starting salary is from 50,000 THB per month, subject to review after a 119-day probation period.
- Private health insurance is provided post-probation.
- Renewable 12-month contract.
- Annual bonus equivalent to one month’s salary.
- All visa and work permit costs are fully covered by the school.
