Job Description:
Are you a native English speaker who loves working with kids in Taiwan? Hankel International Academy of Primary Education is seeking a full-time Homeroom Teacher for the 2024 school year.
Our primary goal is to create an engaging and interactive learning environment where students actively participate in their education. We encourage teachers to implement student-centered and activity-based teaching methods to make learning enjoyable and meaningful.
If you join our team, you can expect a competitive salary between 68,000-85,000 NT per month, based on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include performance bonuses, completion bonus, re-signing bonus, yearly increases, and national health insurance coverage. You will also receive support from academic mentors and IT technicians, as well as training opportunities.
As a Homeroom Teacher, your responsibilities will include organizing lessons, preparing materials, assigning homework, recommending books, and providing personalized learning plans for students with special needs. You will also be expected to manage classroom dynamics, communicate with parents about student progress, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall student experience.
To qualify for this position, you must be a native English speaker with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in English, math, or science. You should possess patience, energy, and creative communication skills. The ability to teach Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science to students in Grades 1-6 is essential.
