International Kindergarten, in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan
International Kids Academy requires native, English-speaking teachers, for a twelve-month contract, commencing April 1st, 2025, through to March 31st, 2026.
POSITION: Full Time Home Room Teacher.
SALARY: Teachers receive 250,000 JPY per month, for the first three months; and 260,000 JPY
thereafter. A bonus of 50,000 JPY, every six months, paid at year end.
HOURS: 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday
Four extracurricular events
All positions shall receive approximately six weeks paid vacation.
APARTMENT: Private, furnished apartment provided, at 37,500 JPY per month
MEDICAL: Japanese health insurance provided
VISA: Sponsorship provided
There are no up-front costs (hidden or otherwise) to teachers.
Approximately 3-4 weeks of training, and training salary, discussed during the interview.
Training begins March 1st, 2025.

Completed four-year University degree
Experience with young children
Genuine love of children and education
Genuine interest in Japan
Able to work in a team environment
Flexible to the demands of the job
Kind, outgoing personality
Great sense of humor
We require teachers who possess both the aforementioned qualities, as well as desire for a truly rewarding occupation, with a great group of dedicated people.
