Tonkla School is currently seeking qualified candidates for multiple positions, including IP Primary English Homeroom Teacher, IEP Academic Leader, and IP Academic Leader. We are looking for dedicated professionals who meet the following general requirements for homeroom teachers:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a related field.
- Hold a valid teaching license or qualification (preferred).
- Have at least 2 years of classroom teaching experience, with a preference for high school level.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills, including setting clear routines and expectations.
- Ability to plan lessons with clear objectives, success criteria, and differentiation strategies.
- Competence in assessing student learning and maintaining accurate records.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with parents and the school team.
- Ability to support student wellbeing, including attendance, behavior, and pastoral care.
- A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Display punctuality, reliability, and strong teamwork abilities.
Additional qualifications include experience in ESL or IPC, and candidates from Europe or South Africa are preferred. Applicants must already be residing in Chiang Mai.
