Cranberry International School in Lampang, northern Thailand, is seeking a Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher to join our team. We are a small international school offering education from Nursery to Grade 6, based on a US standards-based curriculum. We are looking for qualified native English speakers to begin in the last quarter of our academic year.
Position: Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher
Start Date: May 5, 2026
Contract Term: 1 or 2 years (May 2026 - July 2027/2028) with potential for renewal
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Arts, and PE to kindergarten students.
2. Develop lesson plans and assessments, evaluate student progress, and issue end-of-term reports.
3. Collaborate with a Teacher's Assistant for classroom management.
4. Organize school events and activities.
5. Communicate with parents through Line group chats and meetings.
6. Perform administrative duties such as weekly gate duty and student supervision.
7. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with a maximum of 190 school days per year and 20 teaching hours per week.
Qualifications:
1. Native English speaker with at least one year of teaching experience and a bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.
2. Eligible for Thailand’s Non-Immigrant Type B visa, Teacher’s License or Temporary Teaching Permit, and Work Permit.
3. Ability to manage a classroom of up to 20 students and create engaging lessons.
4. Proficient in using technology and online resources in education.
5. Preference for living and working in a peaceful town in northern Thailand.
6. Must start work by the specified date and complete the school year as per the contract.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting salary of 37,000 THB per month
- Thai Social Security benefits including medical expense coverage
- Support for Work Permit and Visa Extension fees
- Over 12 weeks of paid holidays annually
