RoongAroon School in Bangkok is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kindergarten Teacher to join our holistic education team. We offer a salary of at least ฿50,000 per month for full-time employment. Native English speakers are strongly preferred to support our language-immersion program, where language modeling is crucial for early childhood development.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing value-based lesson plans that integrate holistic learning of the head, hand, and heart, fostering student development.
- Creating and maintaining a warm, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Assisting with daily classroom operations, such as chores, cooking, and cleaning, to promote responsibility and cooperation.
- Setting up learning centers tailored to students' individual needs and interests, encouraging exploration and creativity.
- Designing interactive language-learning activities in a mixed-age classroom and providing structured literacy lessons for KG3 students to prepare them for primary school.
- Communicating regularly with parents, holding termly meetings to discuss student progress, and participating in 1–2 parent workshops per year.
- Engaging in daily reflections with co-teachers and attending weekly team meetings for collaborative and enhanced teaching practices.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with young children in a classroom setting.
- A passion for holistic, child-centered education and experiential learning.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Native-level fluency in English is required; native English speakers are strongly preferred.
- Willingness to engage in all aspects of school life, including shared responsibilities and community involvement.
