POSITION TITLE: Math Teacher – Secondary School
JOB DESCRIPTION: Valor International Scholars (VIS) is in search of a dedicated mathematics educator. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in Geometry, Algebra 2, and Pre-calculus. They will be responsible for teaching various subjects ranging from grade 8 algebra 1 to grade 11 pre-calculus, catering to students in grades 8-11. At VIS, we prioritize small class sizes and diverse educational options. Teachers should be adaptable, covering a wide array of topics and adjusting yearly to meet curriculum and student needs. Creating a Kingdom-minded learning environment where students can flourish intellectually is key. Candidates must design engaging lessons, using effective teaching methods to help students reach their academic potential.
QUALIFICATIONS: The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from an English-instructed program at an accredited institution. They should have completed a teacher licensure program in an English-speaking nation or possess five years of relevant teaching experience. A deep commitment to imparting a Biblical Worldview in Christian education is essential. The candidate should exemplify strong work ethic, embodying Christian values both professionally and personally. Demonstrating active involvement in a church community and displaying spiritual growth are crucial. Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn are vital.
