Job Description:

Mimmy is an online educational platform for kids here in Japan. We are currently providing our services to educational institutions such as schools and kindergartens across the country. By sharing your culture, unique hobbies and passions with the children, you can spark a curiosity in them about the world, helping to expand their way of thinking and future possibilities.

As a guide you conduct 25-minute livestreams (adventures) over Zoom. Different to a lesson, an adventure is focused on you providing a unique experience LIVE to the children. Some examples include: introducing Diwali (the festival of lights) live from India, sharing the unique insects and animals of Indonesia, or visiting a local African market sharing all of the unique stalls. The scheduling of these adventures is organized together with our staff based on requests from the institutions and there are no minimum hours required.

Please review the requirements to teach English in Online before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post mentions NES or Native English speakers, that means that applicants need to be from one these countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa.

Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
