What You Will Do:
Create and Deliver Engaging PE Lessons: Develop and implement effective physical education lessons and activities that cater to the needs of all learners, following Finnish Approaches to Learning and international best practices.
Promote Physical Education and Well-being: Encourage students to participate in a variety of physical activities and sports, promoting physical Education and teamwork.
Differentiate Instruction: Adapt PE lessons to accommodate different learning styles, abilities, and interests, ensuring all students can participate and succeed.
Foster a Positive and Inclusive Environment: Create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where all students feel valued, respected, and motivated to achieve their best.
Collaborate with Colleagues: Work with fellow teachers to integrate physical education with other subjects and contribute to a cohesive curriculum.
Monitor and Assess Student Progress: Use formative and summative assessments to track student progress, provide feedback, and adjust instruction as needed.
Communicate with Parents and Guardians: Keep parents informed about their child's progress in physical education and collaborate on strategies to support student growth.
Lead Extracurricular Activities: Organize and lead sports teams, clubs, and events to enhance students' physical education experience.
What We Are Looking For:
A qualified teacher's license or certification with experience in physical education (2+ years preferred).
A strong understanding of the Finnish Approaches to Learning or a compatible international curriculum.
A passion for physical education and a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle among young students.
The ability to create a stimulating, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
The ability to design and deliver engaging and effective PE lessons.
Experience working in an international school (preferred).
