Job Description:

PBISS International School, located in Koh Samui, Surat Thani, is seeking a Secondary Physical Education (PE) Teacher. This full-time position offers a monthly salary of at least 62,000 THB. As a PE Teacher at our international school, you will be instrumental in promoting physical fitness, well-being, and an active lifestyle among students. Your responsibilities include delivering engaging PE lessons, fostering students' physical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment. You will also contribute to the PE curriculum development and collaborate with a multicultural school community to support students' overall growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons tailored to students' age, ability, and cultural background.
- Teach a variety of sports, games, and physical activities, emphasizing movement skills, techniques, strategy, and fair play.
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and respect in all activities.
- Develop and implement a progressive PE curriculum using diverse teaching methods and resources.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students with different learning styles and abilities.
- Educate students about physical fitness, nutrition, and personal well-being to promote healthy lifestyles.
- Assess and monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback to aid development.
- Ensure student safety during all PE activities and adhere to school health and safety procedures.
- Organize and oversee extracurricular sports activities, tournaments, and school events.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community to support student development.
- Participate in school events, meetings, professional development activities, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Contribute positively to the school community and uphold the school’s mission and values.

General Duties:
- Comply with and actively support all school policies and procedures.
- Follow school Health and Safety policies to ensure a safe learning environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by PBISS management.
- Support school-wide initiatives and projects that benefit the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field.
- Teaching qualification or certification is preferred.
- Previous experience teaching Physical Education, preferably in an international or multicultural school.
- Strong knowledge of sports, physical fitness, and wellness practices.
- Ability to design engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
