Seeking 1 Native English teacher or Gyopo Teacher (experienced teachers are welcomed) to start work on June1st 2026 at Spot English Academy (hagwon) in Chungju, Korea.
We’re posting this ad early because we understand that many teachers plan their schedules around yearly contracts. Some may want to secure their next position in advance — this posting is for those teachers who like to plan ahead.
*1 Full time teacher needed
Visa Requirements: F visas or E2 visa holders preferred.
Class Hours: An average of 20–25 hours per week (3 to 5 classes per day). The teaching hours and workload are lower compared to most other academies.
Working Hours: From 1:20 PM onward, depending on your schedule (ending times vary daily — between 6 PM, 7 PM, or 9 PM). You may leave once your classes are finished. We can show you the class schedule if you’d like to see it during the interview.
Prep Time: One hour before the first class and during break times.
Salary: Starting from 2.4 million KRW per month, negotiable based on experience.
Grade Level: Elementary to Middle school (ages 8-16).
Class Length: 50 minutes per class.
Insurance Coverage/Severance: Included (U.S. citizens are covered with pension).
Housing: Provided, fully furnished (no room sharing).
Current Team: 5 instructors
Additional Benefits: No progress reports or regular parent meetings, prompt payment, teaching materials and office computer provided.
