Our curriculum at Doctor English Academy is not the typical Korean curriculum. It has been crafted by experienced teachers, offering engaging and student-centered lessons. There's no monotony of following set course books; instead, teachers have the freedom to shape lessons based on a Skills Roadmap, making classes more interactive and enjoyable, often centered around games.
The academy is American-owned and was established in 2015. Our owner, who is also an educator, comprehends the various perspectives of students, teachers, and parents, ensuring a supportive environment for all.
Here are the key details:
- Salary: 2.5~3.3+ Million Won + Benefits + Housing Allowance based on experience, degree, and Korean speaking ability.
- Working Hours: 1pm to 9pm, six classes daily, with no split shifts or weekend classes, and adequate breaks between classes.
- Student Levels: Elementary and Middle School, with small class sizes and a range of levels from Phonics to Conversation Classes.
- Location: Cheongju, a city south of Seoul, easily accessible and offering all amenities for a comfortable stay in Korea.
Preferred qualifications include a degree in Education, intermediate Korean proficiency, a professional attitude towards teaching, creativity, a fun and energetic personality, flexibility, and a genuine desire to assist students.
