Kindergarten Teacher - Sokcho Hillside Collegiate (HCIS) Sokcho is seeking a dedicated and energetic Kindergarten Teacher for a 5-6 month contract in the beautiful coastal city of Sokcho, Gangwon-do, South Korea. HCIS Sokcho is an accredited international school that follows an American curriculum, serving students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. The school is accredited by Accreditation International (Ai), the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA), and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools – Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS). Our students are well-prepared for further education in U.S. or Canadian secondary schools. Sokcho is a scenic coastal city located about a 2-hour drive from Seoul, offering beautiful beaches, forest trails, and proximity to Seorak Mountain. It is ideal for those who love hiking, biking, and other outdoor pursuits, providing a peaceful yet modern lifestyle. As a Kindergarten Teacher at HCIS Sokcho, you will be responsible for teaching small classes of 13-14 students aged 4-6, with the support of a Korean aide. The curriculum includes phonics, storytelling, theme classes, P.E., science, free play, and field trips.
