Position Overview
Lili International English Training School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Part-Time Foreign English Teacher to join our boutique language school in Linyi, China. This role is designed for foreign educators legally eligible to work in China who are passionate about teaching practical, communicative English to motivated learners in a small-class, student-focused environment. Compensation is competitive and aligned with the local and national part-time ESL market. Room and board are not provided.

Position Details
Location: Linyi, Shandong Province, China School Type: Boutique Language Training School Employment Type: Part-Time Teaching Schedule: Primarily evenings and weekends Contract Length: 6–12 months, renewable Start Date: Flexible / Rolling
Key Responsibilities
- Teach communicative English classes focusing on speaking, listening, pronunciation, and real-world usage. - Deliver lessons to children, teenagers, and/or adults in small group or one-on-one settings. - Use school-provided curriculum while incorporating engaging activities and teaching strategies. - Assess student participation and provide informal feedback to academic staff. - Maintain professional classroom standards and a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications and Compensation
- Native or near-native English speaker from an English-speaking country. - Bachelor’s degree or higher (required for legal employment in China). - TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification preferred. - Prior ESL or EFL teaching experience preferred but not required.
-Eligible for a Chinese Z Work Visa or able to legally work in China.-Professional demeanor and cultural adaptability.
-Hourly pay competitive with the foreign teacher market in Linyi and comparable second-tier cities, typically ranging around 300 RMB per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Room and board are not provided.
