The Helsinki School of Future Engineering invites applications for Lecturer positions in English / ESP /ESL to support its Sino-Finnish international programs. The school offers majors in Smart Construction, Food Quality and Safety, and Nutrition and Health, with the mission of preparing globally oriented professionals with strong communication and technical skills.
ZHFSE combines the strengths of Shanghai Zhongqiao, ranked tenth among vocational undergraduate universities in China and second among private colleges, and Finland’s Metropolia, Finland’s largest and most renowned applied sciences university. Drawing on Zhongqiao’s reform experience in vocational education and Metropolia’s leading applied education resources, the program provides students with an internationally oriented, practice-focused, and innovation-driven training system.
Responsibilities:
• Teach courses such as Comprehensive English, Academic English, English for Engineering, or English for Food Sciences.
• Support bilingual/English-medium instruction across Sino-Finnish cooperative programs.
• Engage in cultural and academic exchange activities within the international community.
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree or higher in English Language & Literature, Applied Linguistics, TESOL/TEFL, or related fields
• At least three years of college-level English teaching experience.
• Strong commitment to teaching excellence, collaboration, and intercultural communication.
• Overseas study or work experience is highly desirable.
Contract & Benefits:
• Initial contract of 1–3 years, renewable.
