KOJEN English Centers were established by Kenneth Hou to address the growing demand for English education in Taiwan during the 1980s. In collaboration with English Language Services (ELS), a leading intensive English program in the U.S., KOJEN has evolved into one of Taiwan's most esteemed English institutes, boasting over 40 branches across the country with a team of approximately 1000 dedicated teachers and staff.
Currently, there are vacancies available in Taipei city, New Taipei city, and Kaohsiung city. KOJEN offers a diverse range of courses tailored for learners of all ages, including preschoolers, children, teenagers, and adults.
At KOJEN, we embrace a student-centered teaching approach where educators actively involve students in exploring language choices. This method encourages students to gradually construct meaning from the language they encounter, enhancing their linguistic sensitivity and promoting a deeper understanding of the language.
Our comprehensive curriculum is designed to meet the needs of both novice and experienced teachers, ensuring continuous professional development. KOJEN values quality education and therefore does not operate on a franchise model.
Joining KOJEN comes with numerous benefits, including competitive compensation with the potential to earn up to NT$70,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience. We also provide paid training, teaching materials, work permits, airport pick-up, initial accommodation, health insurance, and incremental salary increases based on teaching hours.
To be considered for a teaching position, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and commit to a minimum of one year of service. If you are passionate about teaching English to children and are ready to embark on a rewarding journey with KOJEN, please contact Sean at kojenjobs@kojen-els.com.tw.

Please mention that you found the job on Teast for the school's reference.
📌 You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in Taiwan: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. However, some schools may still hire teachers who already have a long-term visa. This requirement only applies to teaching English - schools can still hire you for subjects other than English.
⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
